To be fair, it’s not like there are a lot of ace pitchers available on the open market. The Marlins farm system isn’t remotely good enough to deal for a guy like Sale or Quintana.

Had they not traded for Cashner maybe we could’ve at least offered a respectable deal for Quintana. However, at least they’re active and should be during this seasons upcoming trade deadline.

Its so crazy to see what some once upon a time elite players make when theyre much older. Ichiro making 2m blows my mind because I still remember him as the best contact hitter in baseball.
