Taylor has been raking. Thank you Seattle.

Zach Lee was such a bust. Friedman fixed colleti’s mistake
bigkempin
Lee was expected to be high 1st rd pick. The only reason he fell was due to concerns about signing him since he made it known he planned on returning to college. Even after LA drafted him the move was ridiculed because league sources assumed it was only because they planned on not signing Lee. They took a chance and it didn’t work out. Tons of late 1st rd picks don’t work out.

The potential genius move (as bigkempin explained some of the mechanics not quite working out) was actually some of the work of Logan White, who has made his fair share of wise choices, especially lower in the draft, while heading up the Dodgers’ scouting before moving down south. Hochevar was a worse pick due to doing less homework (signability, basically). Yeah he was a bust, but if Lee would have made it known he would shun football, he’d been a top 5, easily.

Hochevar turned out to be the best mistake ever. That comp pick turned out to be Kersh. I’m also not sure we can distinguish the faults of Colletti/White vs the McCourt era and the penny pinching draft allocations.

The compensation pick wasnt kershaw. But not signing hochevar lead to him being the #1 pick in 2006. That made kershaw fall to 7 so yeah it was the best mistake ever.

Another hanmstring injury this season? Are these guys not stretching enough so they don’t injured themselves

There have been a ton of these types of issues this season! I think the MLB needs to introduce yoga… half joking, but some serious benefits for flexibility and the mental part of the game!

Crap. “couple of weeks” probably means all star break, and then will have cooled off. Get well soon, Red Dream.

Lucky there has been no real issues with Yasiel’s hamstrings.

This is why the Dodgers can’t have nice things.

I love how “couple weeks” is in quotations…

It’s just a quote from the manager. Since it could be interpreted in different ways — strictly speaking, two, but casually perhaps more? or just less certain? — I didn’t want to paraphrase.

Sucks anyway
