There are no comments yet because everyone is CUSSING their face off and the comments just get taken down by the moderators. Gosh darn it. Next thing you know the moose will be on the DL. in fact, they should have the moose in a cast and crutches wheeled to the mound to throw out the first pitch tonight.
24TheKid
That’s true.
Buddy “Bud” Hull
Well at least Segura is getting five hits every game and Haniger is almost back… Right?
lovableschmuck
Too bad they can’t put Servais on the DL.The M’s need someone else to manage the late innings of a game.I just don’t get why he keeps using Diaz to close games with his 5.28 home run prone ERA.The guy is just not that good. And it’s not like they don’t have other guys who can close, especially now with Cishek back.
CompanyAssassin
I miss cishek.

IIRC Cano has never been on the DL before in his career. No one is safe this season.

The mariners are about to have to promote all of AAA just to have a team this season.
liamsfg
Sucks for the Mariners, injuries are the worst part of sports. I like to see every guy get a chance to go out and play each day.
As far as moderation goes, this is the least moderated discussion board that I participate on by far. People should be able to present a heated argument without cussing, like mature adults.

Wasn’t Cano on the DL for an abdominal issue a few years ago?
MB923
Doubt it since he’s played at least 156 games every year from 2007-2016.
Marinersdontsuck?
If we had got any resemblance of a catcher it would help out! .141/.226/.195 overall triple slash from our catchers is absolutely atrocious. Why isn’t anyone talking about that? Yeah, injuries have hit, but not at catcher, we just suck at that position. And to liamsfg, when you’ve sucked as long as the mariners have, you should be allowed to cuss
jbaker3170
Only immature children and adults that have yet to grow up cuss on forum discussion boards. So, which one are you again??
halosfan4ever27
Good news of for the angels! The M’s have been playing well, but without cano plus hanger and others the angels have an easier division.
ReverieDays
Uh, yeah, except Houston is head and shoulders above LA.
MB923
Lol. The Angels aren’t catching Houston.
24TheKid
Well we don’t really need Cano if we blow any lead he gives us.
mikeyank55
Well kid, Cabo’s best seasons are behind him. I wish him the best in returning to good health quickly. Staying healthy as an age 34 player-2nd base – will become more and more difficult. Too bad the M’s committed to another 6 seasons at his pay grade.
Buddy “Bud” Hull
Thanks for the well wishes, but us Mariners fans have also heard this spiel for the last four seasons now. It sucks he’s on the DL, but his production hasn’t worried me at all yet besides the issues he had in the first half of 2015.

Cano has outperformed his contract (so far) and deserves praise for how he handles himself on and off the field. I admit, I’m surprised. Ironically, they have Nelson Cruz the ageless wonder who continues to defy father time. batting .319 with 10 HR and 36 RBI in 40 games and turns 37 this July. Maybe, Cano does the same thing through his age 37 season like Cruz is. Stop hating on Robbie Cano, Yankee fans. Signed, a Yankee fan
