there pitching will need shots in the arm through out the season since santana and santiago wont be able to keep up there numbers so it would have been nice to see gibson figure a some things out and get back to 2015 form cause hughes wont be doing much more then throwing 89 up in the zone and hope buxton can keep his era below 5.

Unfortunately this needed to be done.

Long ago. Tonkin should go with him

Call up Berrios! I know he wasn’t good in the majors last year but he needs more experience. Dominating at Triple-A more won’t help him at this point

Torpedoed is just such a great word

The big question is will Buxton ever be a great player as advertised ????

He obviously started off very poorly, but in his last 10 games his line is: .276/.417/.448. Small sample size of course but a huge improvement.
He changed his batting stance back to what it was last September (no idea why he switched it) and he has a way better approach at the plate too.

Now that I look at it more close the sample size is about equal between the good and bad games. 13 bad, 10 good.
K percentage and BB percentage for the bad was 46 and 4. In the last 10 games it’s been 22 and 19. Massive improvement.
