Somebody in the Mets Management is Not Making the Right offerings to the Gods !
IACub
The Mets ARE the sacrifice to the baseball gods
MrMet62
I’m so afraid you are correct IACub
mikeyank55
Hey Mr. With 55 years of experience supporting this hopeless franchise you qualify for immediate transfer to the phillies franchise. On the surface it may not be a good move, however at least your team would have ownership committed to turning it around and a manager that is qualified to run an MLB team
jdgoat
Over/under 5 and a half minutes before there’s a post from the mets number one fan with a quote from Harvey?
morebreakdowns
He’s still not here, but he may still show up

So I see your vocabulary consists of two words.
SimplyAmazin91
Wow just wow, I wonder if he returns this year or ever pitches for the Mets, could we be looking at a non-tender in December. He had such promise hope he regains some of what he had.
bastros88
maybe they should play with pillows and bubble wrap taped to their bodies
Kayrall
Both players would still have been injured after last night’s game.
mikeyank55
Good recommendation to replace the voodoo pins and needles previously supplied by resident genius “TC”.
citizen
both players are now immortal mets with lagging injuries and diminished performance ala bobby bonilla, david wright and johan santana.
mikeyank55
Johan is due strictly to the genius in the dugout, “TC” who completely mismanaged his recovery by allowing him to pitch a complete game No-Hitter. After throwing some 130+ pitches that night, Johan was nothing more than a batting practice grade pitcher.
metseventually
If is isn’t the sign to trade Reed, Bruce and Duda I’m not sure what will be.
SimonSwings
And, please leave Thor on the shelf for the season, no need to let him cruise through rehab no matter how well he progresses. Relax and head into 2018 with the “best rotation” again.
redsfan48
If he doesn’t get some innings in this year, he will probably have to be limited next year. Let him build up some innings when he’s 100% and can prove he’s healthy. Definite value to letting him pitch a bit, but they should be cautious with him still once he’s back
metseventually
Same with Familia. But the Mets do everything wrong so….
mikeyank55
Thor is in the fast track back to the Mets rotation. They are rushing him to get any starts at home that they can do there are fans in the stands.
“TC” is going to rush the process as much as he can to protect his rear end of a lost season. And with “TC’s record for milking the life out of pitchers arms, coupled with Thor’s macho personality, it means that by 2019 he will be as effective as Matt Harvey.
Robertowannabe
Wonder how many Pirates fans are still crying that the Pirates traded Neil Walker?
morebreakdowns
A lot because the Mets absolutely stole him
Robertowannabe
Stole a player that does not play? Pretty even on players that changed hands because no one is playing now and the Mets are paying how much for a player that helped how much this year?
hojostache
The Mets dumped Niese on them, then they traded an inconsistent Bastardo to get Niese back. So the Pirates got 1/2 yr of Niese and Bastardo so the Mets could have 2 years of Walker. The Mets fan base thanks Pitt for those decisions.
MrMet19
Yeah, Niese did nothing for them, so they’ll be crying for a while…
mikeyank55
Your name more…is very accurate and appropriate. It may he time to trade team allegiance. For ex-Mets fans with sensibility
like yourself it will be a two year process. You can start following any other teams’ AAA franchise this year and apply for an MLB team
next year.
Blue387
We’re snakebitten, baby.
gofish 2
Those are some mighty good strength and conditioning coaches they have. Fire the whole training staff.
mikeyank55
Hey go fish…they can’t find any strength and conditioning coaches to work due to the pay grade. These guys are at minimum wage and Team Wilpon will only increase the budget if someone can bring life back into Sandy Koufax’s arm for a comeback.
acarneglia
The Mets need some kind of voodoo/ witch doctor
