I’d love to see the Cardinals get in on this and send Los(h)e to the bullpen.
Get it done Mo.

The Brewers could re-sign Capuano and use him as their #5 SP instead of Washburn. This isn’t an inspiring move.
kidsmoke96
I don’t get this. The Brewers could use Capuano for their #5 SP role instead. This move doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence. We need a #1 or #2 SP…we’ve got 5’s by the boatload.

This sounds like Randy Wolf / Doug Davis all over again.

Please Brewers, don’t do it. It’s a trap!

Why do they need a new batting practice pitcher?

I will never forgive Washburn for being such a destructive force on the mound for the Tigers. Check out these beautiful numbers:
1 win, 3 losses in 8 games
37 ip, 28 er, and 11 hr
Amazingly enough these numbers include an 8 inning no runs allowed game! (against K.C.)

The rotation seemed so promising at the time too. Verlander, Edwin Jackson, Porcello, and Washburn…to bad it failed miserably.

Don’t do it.
Sincerely,

Jarrod Washburn is like the Ron Jeremy of baseball. No matter how bad everything else looks that one special attribute (being a lefty in JW’s case) will keep him in the game.

Ron Jeremy is an inspiration to all fat, hairy, ugly American males with large…well…you know where I am going with this.

Jesus, already Melvin? The season is barely over and he’s already looking for his first big pitching flop. Milwaukee already has a staff of #5’s. Why go buy another one? If you want a lefty with a 5.xx ERA that’s gonna give up 70 home runs, just resign Doug Davis. GOD it’s frustrating to be a fan of this team.
