I figure Abad, Figueroa, or (since the Blevins trade frees up a 40-man spot) a Rule 5 draft pick would take Blevins’ spot in the bullpen

Just curious Arizona fans, but would a Jeff Locke and Justin Wilson package for Didi Gregorius be interesting?

Interesting title

Just caught that. Good call Blue

I’d love to see Gregorious in pinstripes but don’t think NY has enough bullets in the gun to pull it of

It won’t happen, but I’d like the Reds and Rockies to match up on a deal for Marshall and Phillips. 2nd base has been a black hole for the Rockies for years. But there’s definitely too much money for Colorado to be involved.
Vinnie White
I don’t know why everyone keeps saying we need a 2b. DJ was great there. Had a higher average than Phillips too. I like him a lot.
thekoshow
I don’t dislike DJ, I just think it could turn into Josh Rutledge 2.0.
Vinnie White
I don’t think DJ’s make up will allow that. He’s a gap hitter and not a pop guy like Rutledge. And I’m not willing to give up on Josh either. He’s a good ballplayer.

I can see where your head is at, but it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense for the Reds either. They’re specifically asking for a package that makes them better in 2014 for Phillips, and the Rox won’t really be able to offer that.
FS54 2
Tulo definitely makes Reds better.
Vinnie White
Yeah he would. Who would you give the Rockies?
FS54 2
No idea. I was just pointing out that Rockies do have someone that makes Reds a better team (not financially). From Cozart to Tulo, the upgrade is pretty significant. Middle order of Votto-Tulo-Bruce is pretty sweet.
bleedrockiepurple
Sure, just like Votto would make the Rox better too, but we all know that’s not happening either.

Pomeranz in the bullpen is a waste. If all he winds up being is a BP guy, the A’s should have kept Anderson.
