Wasn’t this guy somewhat of a prospect or was that just the usual Yankee boosting?
LazerTown
He was a pretty good 2B prospect. In 2010 he suffered a really bad ankle injury that cost him lots development time, pretty much 2 years, and killed his mobility. His range never came back, and as a 3B his bat is nothing. He probably could have made it in the majors, but he shouldn’t be playing 2B, and that was pretty much where his bat would be suitable.
Joe Orsatti
The indians made a mistake giving him guaranteed money. Baltimore however got what they needed in this deal.
BradyAnderson
Could start at 3b for a couple weeks until Machado is healthy, if they feel like Almanzar isnt up to the task, and send him back.
Tigers72
De la Cruz looks good as lefty reliever and Tigers should take a look at him.
Hills of Glenallen
To play SS?
Tigers72
We got Visquel for that.
Joe Orsatti
I’d like to see Dixon machado get a look
Matt Galvin
Mark DeRosa? Because just retired and can play SS.
Riaaaaaa
I’m just glad I won’t have to see him in pinstripes anymore.
LazerTown
Would much rather watch him than Overbay, at least I could hope he improves. That injury really killed his career.
Rabbitov
Keep it classy.
MB923
What is it that he said that is exactly not classy? He’s happy his team doesn’t have a particular player anymore so that makes him not classy?
Riaaaaaa
she* 🙁
MB923
Sorry about that!
Sufferfortribe
Adams was another of those brilliant signings by Antonetti. And, yes, that is what sarcasm sounds like.
Lefty_Orioles_Fan
What are the Orioles going to do with this guy?
We already have plenty of players just like him.
