Wonder if the Rangers would sell high on him. Some one like the Dodgers might be willing to take on the salary and they could restock the farm after the Hamels trade and Profar will likely be ready to return to the IF next season

Why would a team take on that albatross and give up prospects? The whole reason getting rid of Andrus is a topic is because he’s over-paid and under-producing, why would anyone want to take that on?
Elvis Andrus provides negative value. If somehow, the Rangers do manage to get rid of him, they won’t be dumping the salary AND getting chips in return.
A success from this point on, will be Andrus somehow producing anywhere near break-even in value – which is highly unlike at this stage – a 2 month sample size won’t change much.
