Would love for the Giants to sign Iwakuma as a number 3.

I would be making so many inquiries about Puig, the Dodgers seem to really want to do something stupid with him like, trade him. He has the same ISO as last year, and his BABIP dropped by about 60 points. Very easily could have put up similar numbers if not for luck. The bottom line about him is that he’s got a couple more very legitimate MVP-level seasons like last season left in him, yet bad/unfun/racist press seems to plague him worse than anyone else in the league. If he looked like Mike Trout that wouldn’t be happening and the Dodgers would have extended him by now.
AGAVE
It’s my opinion that the Dodgers management needs to invest in a mental coach for him in order to establish his focus and discipline when in uniform.
He gets distracted too easily as I see it. He needs to prioritize his career and ability then execute to yield the results we all foresee of him

That’s double sad for the Pads since what has happened this season is 100% Preller fault. Its no more Murphy’s fault than it was Black’s fault. Preller put the fantasy league team together that very predictably has not performed well. If anyone should be losing their job, it is him.
RedRooster
Preller’s contract was extended through 2019. He’s not going anywhere anytime soon, unfortunately.

Im not buyin what Miller says about Nevin being considered. Thats not true, per say…he said that because Nevin’s name has “naturally” popped up on Padre blogs, becuz ONCE AGAIN, the knuckleheads who cover this team like Scott, are so obsessed with anyone that has a connection to this team as a former player or manager (Black went to SDSU, so you might as well consider him a native too)
Ask me, they need to look COMPLETELY away from the Nevins and Brad Ausmuses of the World. Preller dont know Nevin from a ham sandwich…a GM typically picks a manager thar he has some semblance of history or shared ideology with. So lets not assume Nevin is ‘in the bag’…it would actually make more sense to me if Preller picked Ron Washington, than Phil Nevin…
