Just welcomed my second son to the world yesterday. So I certainly appreciated this chat during the down time at the hospital.

Philadelphia. They’ve already checked in and the rotation needs improvement

“How about a Tebow update” was a pretty funny question.

I mean, most 31-year olds in triple A with a .396 OPS are definitely prospects, right? I admire the guy for sticking with it, but if he ever gets called up it will be a publicity stunt.

Hey Jeff, E Z P Z here! So, I must have missed it. When did MLB change player status from DL to IL? MLB becoming more PC?
    Jeffrey Todd
4:38 I’m only taking this one because this issue makes my blood boil.
4:39 It’s simple: groups that work with disabled children approached MLB. Maybe the changed usage of the term is such that continuing to label it the “disabled list” might send the wrong message to youngsters who are being taught they don’t need to be held back by their physical or mental disability.
Since nobody could possible care (right? RIGHT?!) MLB said “sure, why not make this easy change in a quiet manner.”
    And ye t…

This response is why I read this site. Thank you so much Jeff. And you snowflakes who are complaining about a change in a single letter- seriously, go volunteer to work with disabled people. Go to a hospital or nursing home. They always need volunteers. Talk to people who feel totally marginalized by being called “disabled” because they might have been born with a club foot or no arms. OK? Be better, people.

He who chooses a racist name wants to talk about marginalizing people

Is this a reference to me? I have “chosen a racist name”? I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about.

These chats are getting lame. I thought it was bad when every other question was about Harper… at least they were baseball related. I had two baseball related questions ignored… I asked what kind of return could the Tigers get for Boyd and what teams might have interest. I also asked about his top 10 for MLB draft. Instead we get…

1 Get off this chat and take those kids outside to play. Wait, can you do this from your phone in the park?
2 The anticipation of waiting for you is exactly the same as what the North felt waiting for the Whitewalkers in last week’s episode.
3 Wait… Is it you or Steve Adams that is the Cubs fan?
4 Is your last name really Todd?
5 Kids can’t wait. they grow up.
6 How about a Tebow update?
7 How do I get my 4 year old daughter to like baseball?
8 I haven’t commented on this website in a long time due to the hostile and often inane community. Are there going to be any steps to reform the behavior or do I look elsewhere for healthy interaction about our beloved sport?
9 If you pretend you don’t like it they will. That’s how my son became a Cardinals fan in Chicago.
10 Not only do you clearly have it our for my favorite team, but now you are shaming me for not having a child. This chat is a sham!
11 I finally got my 11-year-old son to understand that all you can do is hit the ball hard. That took forever……..he thought he was supposed to get a hit every time or he was a failure. He loves the game.

I hoped it was about baseball… it doesn’t look like it any more.
