Ferrariman
lol the royals..perfect fit for rick ankiel i guess. good hitters/neutral park to get back in the groove of his 07 08 numbers. just dont expect a ring at the end of the season.
same could be said for the pirates too i guess.
boraswannabe
HAHAHA. Matt Holiday on a 1 year deal. He gets injured or has a bad year, then what?? The Cardinals couldn’t really believe that crap could they??
FenwayFaithfulDevilsFan
I don’t think so Boraswannabe… I think thats a pretty bad excuse… I agree with you 100%
Holliday would not allow Boras to risk that.
FenwayFaithfulDevilsFan
I agree with you on Bell Tim, however I think it depends on the figure submitted by Bell…
If he goes for 8, They might go with the padres offer of 3 or 4. If he goes 6, I think he will get it.
bharsh
I still say Ankiel and the Giants would be a good fit….
Ferrariman
yup thats exactly what the giants need..a giant questionmark outfielder who might give you 25 home runs or might give you 5 home runs all while maintaining a sub .200 average with RISP..and about a .250 average overall. more inconsistent hitters..exactly what the giants need.
unless your referring to ankiel being a pitcher then i might agree HAHA
TommyBrookensIsMyTiger
I think Ankiel would be perfect in Scranton.
TommyBrookensIsMyTiger
I think Ankiel would be a perfect fit in Albuequerque.
Abraham Zapruder
The Cards got taken to the cleaners by Boras.

If Heath Bell is going to be indeed that cheap I cant see the Padres moving him until the trade deadline when (at times) there is a panic for a elite closer.
Many teams could use bullpen help, especially a cheap closer that has really flourished in that particular role.

Tejada would be a perfect 2 year deal for the Cubs until Castro’s ready. The guy, no matter what age he is, drives in runs, never misses a game, and never strikes out. Perfect for the Cubs’ anemic lineup. Not to mention his leadership and energy in the clubhouse cant be forgotten either.
Ferrariman
he also grounds into 25 double plays and kills rallies.
JZG
ill take the dp’s because he’s still driving in 100
