Funny since diamonds in the rough usually have to perform as well. Harden doesn’t quite fit that mold.

    My 11th brother’s best friend’s neighbor’s cat’s groomer is friends with
    a man whose house keeper is Freddy Garcia’s amigo’s padre’s madre’s
hermana’s prima and says that the mystery pitch is called the “salt
ball.” He keeps a grain of salt under his finger and applies enough
pressure to break the ionic bond, releasing a burst of energy which is
used to rotate the ball an extra time. What is this splitter thing?

Over the Monster seems to forget the legacy of rubbish throwing leftes at fenway and the name of that blog should have jolted it into Marc Normandin’s mind when he wrote that particular blog…

Garbage throwing SP who throw from the portside have awful careers for the home team at Fenway, when their name is not Bill Lee and he would be well advised to remember that fact. as a famous newsman once said.. You can look it up…

Wow, D’Backs rotation could be killer in ’13, Hudson, Kennedy, Cahill, Collmenter, Skaggs, & Bauer all fighting for 5 spots, who’s the odd man out? Collmenter?

Why not a top 10 baseball books now.. As in something resembling the truth about the game, rather than movies of which almost all are nothing but fiction and even the ones that are not outright are glitzed up with junk added that never happened?

Wonder how many here have ever bothered reading the classics of the game… Veeck as in Wreck.. Ball Four etc..

So many classics and no movie could ever tell the story.
