      in order to eliminate bias and speculation, Ben didn’t take into account club options, even if they are near locks to be picked up. 

      without looking at specifics, longoria’s contract has a bunch of club options at the end of it, which weren’t factored in.

    Where’s Matt Holiday? He’s signed until 2016 by the Cardinals.

      The list is the single longest contract held by every team. Holliday is signed through 2016 but the Cardinals recently signed Molina through 2017.

       He had a personal services contract as recall for over a decade.. Ramirez with Boston had one.. Pujols with Anaheim has one with Anaheim after his deal expires..

      They just banned them, so no more deals to shake hands and get 1-2m bucks a season I reckon’.

    Crawford & Lackey  are long term contracts not mentioned that help their team the most by being on the disabled list.
