I am so glad the Rangers gave up on Leonys Martin. his 8 hrs, 7 sb and great defense have really helped the Mariners. How’s Wilhelmsen, Jones and Kivlehan working out for you?

ya can’t believe we didn’t get a major haul for a guy we let take 1300 poor at bats and thanked us with a crappy selfish whoa is me attitude and the whole league knew we wanted to escort out the door.
kingfelix34
They did because they already had there future all star center fielder, oh wait, he got sent down to the minors. It seems like being over rated runs in the Desheilds family.

Brinson is and always was the CFer of the future. Ian Desmond has better output than Leonys anyways

You’ll really love Martin when he’s batting around .220 and obp under .300. He swings like he thinks he is a power hitter. Strikes out like one also. You can have him he’s all yours. Selfish player with no desire.

Martin has a 30 % strikeout rate this year, I wouldn’t call that successful. Just because he’s hot now doesn’t mean it will last. He’s also not a OBP guy, and never will be. The Rangers really don’t need Deshields, in fact I’m glad he’s a AAA. We have Lewis Brinson at AA, and also Jared Hoying. All much better than Martin will ever be. Wilhelmsen really not necessary. The Rangers have a good enough farm to get practically any one at the trade deadline, where the Mariners do not. The Mariners look like the Astros from last year, it won’t last.
kingfelix34
Yes, because all the Mariners do is hit homeruns or strike out

Odor slides hard and dirty all the time then take offense and throws punches when someone slides hard on him….don’t like that kid
justinkm19
It wasn’t just the slide dummy. Did you not watch the playoffs?
tobyharrah1977
I would take offense if a player tried to late slide into a base and possibly ruin my career also. Especially if the player popped up and puffed out his chest as a challenge. Bautista got what he deserved and more. You’re just jealous your team and player wasn’t in a position to man up.
