What’s vague? He’s coming back for a major surgery and it’s going to take some time to build to strength back up. You should spend more time on your own team rather than try to bash another.

While 92-93 isn’t 95-98, it’s a lot better sign for long term recovery than if he was still sitting in the high 80s. He can be effective at 93 while he awaits 98. Hopefully it’ll come. Pretty good news, considering the surgery he had.

And with control and 3 pitches, it’s plenty good for a #3 starter, which is his role right now.

I’d say his role is even a 4th starter behind Matz at this point.
