You’re the best, Tim. Was Burke Badenhop a teammate of yours for a while? If so, I’m sure the one-liners were zinging.
Burke Badenhop
I was not. I bounced around too much to be anyone’s teammate for ‘awhile.’ A major league bullpen is only allowed so many colorful middle relievers at a time as well. Great post!

Calm down with all of that Fast ‘Food’ kid or you’ll be curtailing your health prematurely.

Dude, skip the Taco Hell and get you a burger. They have some good places, like Whataburger, In-N-Out, and the one with my favorite name…..Smashburger!

Tim – We’ve never met, but I played ball with your brother, Jeff. It must run in the family, because he is a terrific ball player as well! That being said, he is one of the most genuine, kindhearted people I have ever known. He and I were on a field together when he followed you facing Manny Ramirez on his rehab stint following his suspension… I thought you should have hit him in the thigh instead of walking him. I think it is awesome that you had the experience of pitching in Yankee Stadium. I am sure you don’t enjoy the memory of giving up the HR to Posada, but think of the millions of people who will never come close to that experience… I’m a Yankees fan, btw, so maybe I am biased. Hope to meet you some day, God Bless!! Keep up the blog, true baseball fans/former players can certainly appreciate it!!
