is it safe to say that Tazawa Is done In the majors?
Phillies2017
I wouldn’t say so. The Marlins are still paying him through next season. No sense in cutting bait just 6 weeks into a 2 year contract.
They’ll probably keep him out for a month or two, gauge whether or not they’re competing and if not they’ll bring him back and hope he finds it. If they are, they might hold him out until the rosters expand in September and use him in low leverage situations.
Assuming his return isn’t atrocious, we shpuld expect to see him suit up next year for a few outings at the very least.

Red Sox should send John Farrell to Florida for Aviles – a do-over. Let Aviles manage the Sox, can’t be any worse.

Too bad the Mets don’t shake up their roster like this, a tommy moline here and a Neil Ramirez there is not going to get us anywhere.

Avilies did a lot of traveling for not much playing

He’s had a decent career for an average player. Time to hang it up and enjoy life with the family.

The Marlins have like no pitching- I don’t get why Koehler and Conley are in AAA. there aren’t better options

I have been wondering the same thing. I understand Conley and Koehler have been poor but I just don’t see better options in the minors at all.

Marlins’ starting staff was iffy at best heading into the season. We’re only in mid May and the wheels have already come off with a vengeance. Gonna be a very long season in Miami
