It’s funny how Steve said he thinks Rafael Devers will stay at DH and just a couple hours later San Francisco announced he’s moving to first base. That happens a lot to him and Anthony. They’ll say something in a chat and then a team will prove them wrong. Just a couple hours later. Always makes me chuckle.
Goes to show you how hard this game is to predict. Just look at the free agent contest every off season.
Yeah, you would think they would learn then to not make such definitive statements
Steve is wrong all the time because he takes the wrong positions
Sometimes it’s OK to admit you don’t know or even to say it could go this way or that way
Steve and Anthony are so lukewarm on their own, takes by their own admission, that they often miss stuff that is easy to see coming
I am sure that they anticipated Devers unwillingness to play elsewhere in Boston and used that idea to formulate their article. The fact that Devers suddenly is willing is surprising to me.
It’s not surprising to me because I understand human egos. Have you ever worked at a place with drama? This is basic management, not being clear communicating to their workers type stuff.
I guess I have experience in the real world that makes these type of things obvious to me. Maybe if you’ve never worked in the office it’s not as obvious.
I taught middle school age students. They are filled with drama.
