1. D. Lee has 3 GIDPs for ATL, not 11 like the poster wrote.
2. Rasmus has a TON of value. So many posts in this chat about that are beyond insulting. Erick Aybar? C’mon thats laughable. Matt Kemp might sound like a match but Rasmus has the higher ceiling and Kemp is an atrocity on defense, he’s no CF. Its going to take 2-3 quality major leaguers or 3 blue chip prospects for Colby.
3. Ryan Zimmerman actually is having the best season out of anyone in the NL. If ever they were to do another “Andre Dawson” MVP, this would be a wise pick. Incredible defense, great hitting, 2nd in the majors in WAR behind Hamilton….Carlos Gonzalez has a 1200 OPS in Denver and 760 OPS away…that’s hardly the mark of a superstar. He’s good yes, but put him on another team and his numbers become much less gaudy.
who do you think the cubs get rid of to dump payroll
You’re doing it wrong.
Couple of things:

Called hyperbolic. And thank the MLBTR pals of mine for teaching me that word. Your welcome.
