Ty Wigginton? He hasn’t been with Houston in years.

Why must I always be reminded of the Kevin Mench era and the horrible trade that brought him to Milwaukee?

Anyone know whatever happened to Chuck James? I liked the guy and thought he was the #### a few years ago when he won like 75% games the Braves won one June or July. Of course now I have the knowledge of there being more to pitchers than ERA and Wins, and he really had trouble keeping the ball in the park. Anyway, anybody know if Chuck is still in baseball?

He was pitching for AA Harrisburg this season. I got a chance to see him pitch and he actually looked decent. His fastball topped off from 85-89 with better movement than he’s ever had. He was also commanding both sides of the plate and got some good NH hitters out. His Curve was also good…But none of this means it will translate in to good Major League Pitching.
…and minor league games are not that expensive either.

Haha. AllYourBaseAreBelongToUs is right…Minor League games aren’t that much…But for MLB games, I just go to stubhub, buy the cheapest ticket(s) and move to wherever in Citi Field. Yankee Stadium is much harder.
By the way, I am looking for a job…Any idea guys? MLBTR readers? hey Ben Nicholson Smith do you have any ideas? Tim?
Chuck James was only missing two things…. The ability to make it past the 5th inning and a third pitch lol.. To this day I still remember his first start against the then Devil Rays. 8 IP 2 H 8Ks, and I remember he worked with his dad repairing windows in the off-season! Solid guy all around.
The Tigers also released Matt Treanor and Marcus Thames last November. Although they didn’t wait until the deadline to tender a contract, their roster move had the same impact. The players became free agents, and both wound up playing in the ALCS, while Durbin played in the NLCS.
Quite a record of former Tigers in the playoffs this year. Cody Ross, Edgar Renteria, Aubrey Huff, Andres Torres, Colby Lewis, Treanor, Thames, Infante, Polanco, you can easily make a roster full of them.

I thought Saito was non-tendered by the Dodgers after he had his arm problems, before going to the Red Sox. Am I wrong or was he just left off the list?

How do you afford to go to every game ever?
Get a job or something, it’s crazy.

Be very careful asking the internet what you can do for work. It usually ends with dollar bills and lonely gentlemen.

In January he signed a Minor League contract with the Nationals.
