Man, it’s a shame to see the Giants go down in flames like this just a year after winning the championship. Their offense has been a complete embarrassment which is too bad for an amazing rotation that can’t get their team a win if they give up more than a run. Hopefully, the Giants can make a couple of savvy moves to get some more pop into the line up.

On the other hand it probably gives Dodgers fans one of their only 3 good feelings about the year… other others being Kemp and Kershaw.

I think you’re forgetting Aaron Miles.
In all seriousness though, I think Dee Gordon is another good feeling for the Dodgers. I watched him in a couple games, and while he is still pretty raw, I think he’ll be a fun player to watch.

I don’t know, I think it’s been pretty awesome that the Giants have been exposed as a team that got exceedingly lucky last year.

They got contributions from unlikely people, much like how any other team makes the playoffs every year. It just goes to show that your whole team has to perform rather than one piece of it, imo.

And with all the injuries, have gotten exceedingly unlucky this year.

Because EVERY team is just as good when they lose two of their best players for 90% of their season. o.O

Ahh an A’s fan, that explains it. I think it’s pretty awesome that the A’s fill 500 seats a night myself.

“Exposed?” What’s wrong with being lucky? You have to have both talent & luck to win the big games, and the Giants had both. And it’s not like all the postseason series came down to the last game – the Giants dominated in all 3 of them, 3-1, 4-2, & 4-1 and won every single series on the road. That’s not just luck. That’s playing really, really well.

I guess if you don’t understand baseball, you call elite pitching “lucky.” Too bad AAA’s fans don’t spend as much time supporting their own team as they do hating on the Giants. If they did, maybe Lew Wolff wouldn’t be knee deep in overdue bills to Home Depot for all those tarps…your inferiority complex is showing again, Oakland.

Zito and 28 mil for zambrano is a fair trade.
giantsfan4life
I’d rather release Zito and pay the full 46 million than deal with the headcase that is Zambrano.
gunsnascar
He can atleast hit and thats something that your pinch hitters cant do.

Pill the Thrill!
ZAK A.
AAAAHAHAHA! Sweet swing on a decent low changeup and a laser shot! Who said Pill was just an overinflated PCL leaguer? What the projections don’t tell you is how hard a guy swings- let’s just say Pill gave new meaning to Pedroia’s LASERSHOW tonight. Whether he’ll ever be a full time player in the big leagues is still a question, but he will provide a RH power bat. Wherever he ends up in the big leagues, VP Bobby Evans has said will be at 1B- giving some indication the Giants are still looking to deal Pill.

“if it gets ugly for the team in September”??? Down 7 games with 20 left to play is pretty ugly. How much uglier does Sabean want it to get?
