I could see Moss finding his way back to the 40-man, and even earning a spot on the 25-man, in spring training. The guy seemed to be hitting rather well at the end of the AAA season, so hopefully it carries over.

He could be on the 25 man for the Astros, maybe even the Mariners. Other than that, he can take his pick at 28 triple-A teams and with an added bonus he can start (I won’t get greedy with having him hit cleanup). I will agree with you though, that the power numbers were nice in triple-A and he wasn’t playing in the PCL so that should count for something.

Moss has always been a AAAA kind of player.

agreed… with a career MLB OPS+ of exactly 80 now, I doubt Moss will get another chance in the majors, unless there’s a string of injuries above him in the depth chart.
