- Rubin wonders if the Mets will open the season with both D.J. Carrasco and Miguel Batista on the 25-man roster or if a non-roster left-hander will make the team (Twitter link). Mike Gonzalez and Arthur Rhodes are free agent possibilities for GM Sandy Alderson to consider.

Mike Gonzalez a Met? Hahahaha, after what Boras said about Wilpon?!? You can file that under never. As for Rhodes sure why not? Actually, I am surprised the O’s haven’t really considered it.
Lastly, concerning Santana, I think he will hold together, I like his chances.
To be a Mets fan you must enjoy torture.
