- Infante is reportedly seeking an annual salary north of $8MM on a long-term deal, according to ESPN's Buster Olney (Twitter link).
- Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register notes (also via Twitter) that Infante's asking price likely impacts the market for the Angels' Howie Kendrick, who is owed $18MM over the next two seasons. Teams unwilling to meet Infante's asking price could look to Kendrick as a superior option.
