Gamble on Anderson, but it’s only money.
BlueSkyLA
It isn’t that much a of gamble, unless you think he might get hit by a bus or something.
rick5ful
Giving a QO to Anderson is still a win-win for the Dodgers regardless if he accepts it or not.
Cdiaz
I’m sure he’ll say no, they all want security in the long run.
rick5ful
I prefer he say no, more draft picks to help improve the farm system.
Cdiaz
Yes, they probably be deeper and more money to spend on the draft. Since they can’t spend that much in the international draft.
BlueSkyLA
Always a safe guess since nobody has accepted a QO yet.
est1890
Agree. Dodgers could acquire better arms in free agency or w/ trades & push Anderson to be the 4th or 5th starter.
Cdiaz
If they say no, thats for 4 picks between the first and second round. Since they didn’t sign last year comp pick.
BlueSkyLA
Good point, that’s what you call a double meat sandwich round.
est1890
Personally, and I think I’m not the only one, will definitely give the Nationals the 25th pick for signing Zimmermann.
MB923
I’d accept that if I were Anderson.
