Gosh, remember when Tyson Ross was ” a week away” from starting a rehab assignment in, like June? It would have been nice to acquire value for him last offseason but it seems like that ship has sailed. I have a feeling we’ve seen the last of Tyson Ross as a major league quality starter. Sad, because he was fun to watch, but that delivery was so bad. This was bound to be the outcome.

He was an injury waiting to happen and they waited too long to trade him.

Yeah they should have just dealt him this past offseason. This was yet anther example of the Padres holding on to a player too long and watching his trade value plummet in the process.
Josh Hambilly
His delivery was OK, he just threw way too many sliders – highest % in MLB.

Six runs on nine hits in two innings of A-ball? Anderson’s woes are beginning to reach historic levels.

Absolutely cooked.
Not a good sign going forward – his problem was always staying healthy – when he was on the mound, he was good.
Now, on the mound he’s awful.
At least Kershaw’s return is exciting eh?

The early reports on Anderson’s rehab work were very encouraging. It is so unclear what is happening to him now. Will be holding my breath on Kershaw!

I’m curious.
Anderson exercised his player option to stay in LA.
Can the Dodgers trade him even though BA chose to stay?
