So let me get this straight, there’s no way we can blame Farrell for Wright’s injury? Maybe we just need to apply ourselves.

I don’t think the Rangers have a very difficult decision to make regarding Gee. Chi Chi Gonzalez has a partial ucl tear and is out half the season at least. Put him on 60 day DL and give Gee a long man spot, he’s pitched well enough to deserve it

I’m all for Gee filling the rotation, they are still looking at A.J, which I’m not a huge fan of, and besides we already have a full pen, with the rise of Claudio and Kela coming back healthy. It’s true that it’ll be tough but I believe the guy deserves the spot, at least somewhere on the roster

Swarzak hit 97

Sounds like Mitchell is the 4th starter, and either Montgomery or Severino for the 5th. I see them moving Monte to AAA since he is not on the 40 man to start the season.

I don’t forsee more than one missed start for Rodon suffering with bursitis as they retroactively put him on the 15-day DL in April.
The higher the velocity the bigger the zone. At 90-93, there are more hot than cold spots for the typical hitter but at 95-97, there are more cold than hot. Guys that can hit their spots at 97+ are virtually unhittable. If Swarzak can consistently reach 97, he won’t have to worry as much when missing spots.
