But everyone LOVES Bartolo! He’s the best baseball player ever, how could anyone not want him
GoCardsGo
Not even the closest thing to the best player on the team, nonetheless best player ever.
tsmizzzle
You really don’t get comedy do you?
GoCardsGo
Hardly anyone does since emotions are non existent through text.
Priggs89
If you need emotions to tell what RiverCatsFilms said was sarcasm, I think there are bigger issues at play…
ghost of harambe
You really couldn’t tell he was being sarcastic
davbee
No, YOU couldn’t tell he was being sarcastic.
RiverCatsFilms
That is right, and I can’t say “Oh it’s comedy your dumb for not understanding. But Bartolo is a fan-favorite, and will sell games
CompanyAssassin
Not sure if you’ve been informed, but that was joke, otherwise known as sarcasm.
plyons
The Mets desperately need Colon right now. They might even give the Braves a semi-decent prospect, such as a future bullpen piece that’s only in A-ball right now.
whatcommonsense
Now that’s comedy!
JosephCC87
I agree and if you doubt about it just take a look at his stas
jay13
I still think the twins did the right thing not trading Dozier for De Leon. He started slow last year too. He will heat up soon.
chieftoto
I agree. Dozier overall>De Leon overall imo.
dodgerfan711
Depends on what they ultimately trade Dozier for. As of right now I think it was a mistake on their part because the market for him has really gone down. But its way too early to determine anything
ThePriceWasRight
it’s the right move strictly from looking at what deleon went for. Forsyth is no dozier
tharrie0820
No? They’ve actually been extremely similar value wise. In fact, I think Forsythe might has been the better player overall by a bit iirc
Sky14
There wasn’t much a market for him in the offseason so that hasn’t changed much. He’s actually starting off better than last year, he’ll come around. I doubt the Twins trade him at all.
mrbaseball
Neftali Perez.
Kaelus80
Feliz?
mrbaseball
Yes!! Not sure how I ended up with Perez.
dodgerfan711
Cueto? He is pitching poorly and not going to fetch the giants any elite prospects like he could have just as recently as last offseason
thegreatcerealfamine
Cueto can block any trade.
aff10
I don’t think he can, but he has an opt-out after this year that makes him a questionable value
bencole
Cueto certainly will still cost elite prospects. And if he didn’t, why would the Giants trade him?
ReverieDays
Cueto was never talked about as a big time trade guy since people thought the Giants would still be good and need him.
WAH1447
Colon was not pulled because of rain he was pulled before the rain delay and replaced by Ian Krol. That needs to be changed
Connor Byrne
You’re right. Thanks.
El Duderino
Isn’t this always who Hellickson has been though? He’s really not a top of the rotation guy, but he’s still rocking a 3.44 era. He’s never been lights out, but manages to get it done anyway.
Philliesfan4life
Hellickson has always been a consistent pitcher, but he hasen’t gotten back to his 2011 form. I wish the angels would sign him next year
Michael Birks
I’d give you Pomerantz for him straight up
angelsfan4life
You could add Espinoza and Cron to the list.
cmancoley
Espinosa never had any trade value to begin with and I don’t think that Cron’s trade value can really be said to be lowered given that he’s been injured for over half the season so far
TheGreatTwigog
What site is xwOBA on?

Scroll down to “Metric Range” and select “xwOBA based on Launch Speed/Angle.”
I Believe We Can Win
Yangervis Solarte should be on this list. No honorable mentions? He was talked about when dodgers were looking for 2B options
Hes got a .226/.302/.327 line. Far cry from last year.
Connor Byrne
Solarte nearly made it. He was among a few others who drew strong consideration.
gamemusic3 2
Twins: “You won’t get Dozier without Bellinger”
Dodgers: nelson muntz gif
greatgame 2
Hellickson is very overrated. Wouldn’t touch him.
jd396
For whatever it’s worth Dozier was getting awfully close to losing his starting job about this time a year ago.
GarryHarris
I agree that the value of Todd Frazier, Melky Cabrera and Andrew McCutchen have depreciated. In addition, the values of Francisco Rodriguez, Anibal Sanchez and Fernando Rodney have disappeared completely. However, I don’t think Brian Dozier or Jeremy Hellickson’s trade value has diminished any. Helleckson is pitching well and the Twins are still in the division hunt.
Injuries have turned MLB upside down.
Blue_Painted_Dreams_LA
The Dozier market has depreciated in the fact that there’s really no market for him. The slim market is non existent to this point. That’s also a matter of perception as to whether you believe the Twins can compete. I’m wondering if the Phillies actually trade Hellickson.
cmancoley
I don’t think the Phillies would get much for Hellickson because of his hefty price tag
dorfmac
You left Zach Britton off the list. You dropped the ball there, Duquette.
ReverieDays
Good teams don’t trade their elite Closers, goofball.

Trevor Bauer?
