I get what you’re saying. A franchise like the Giants have proven they know how to build a winner but really, you look at this team and you have to think the chances were bad even BEFORE Bumgarners injury.
Giants are 1-0 with ty blach out dueling Clayton Kershaw. We all saw that one coming.
They made the playoffs the year before last with a very similar roster. Then they added Longoria and McCutchen. They have a chance.

What’s the difference between Lance Lynn and Colin mchugh? You said the brewers had 5 Colin mchugh’s and should’ve went for a Lynn or arrieta. I don’t think Lynn is any better than mchugh at all. Mchugh is easily an upgrade over suter or woodruff at this point. They could stand to add an impact starter but Lynn is no more that than mchugh.
