Follow The NBA Draft, Offseason With Hoops Rumors

By Steve Adams | June 14, 2018 at 1:31pm CDT

Now that the 2018 NBA Finals are in the books, the offseason fun is set to begin. The draft is just one week away, with free agency to follow 10 days later, and it should be a wild summer for the NBA.

The Cavaliers, Lakers, Sixers, Rockets, and a handful of other teams remain viable destinations for LeBron James, while other top free agents like Paul George and DeMarcus Cousins may change teams, too. The trade market is also expected to be active, as it represents the best path for many cap-strapped teams to upgrade their rosters. The latest whispers suggest we could see plenty of movement on draft night next Thursday.

To keep tabs on all of the latest NBA offseason news and rumors, head over to Hoops Rumors, follow @HoopsRumors on Twitter and set up your notifications on the Trade Rumors app for iOS and Android. We’ll have you covered every step of the way as teams tweak — or, in some cases, overhaul — their rosters.

Where will LeBron go? In Decision 3.0?

The Homer in me says NY, maybe he can end that NY Championship curse. then he’d really become GOAT.

High chance Probably will re-sign with Cavs?

And think 76ers, if they hire David Griffin as GM to replace the disgraced Colangelo (Head coach Brett Brown was elevated to Interim GM as they search for new GM to replace Colangelo)

He has a great working relationship with David Griffin, who architected 2016 champ Cavs team, that upset the Warriors but still let go cuz Cavs’ owner likes lowballing GM’s (?)

I think hiring David Griffin, significantly improves 76ers’ presumably slim, signing LeBron odds.

Why would LeBron want to come to the Lakers and be a babysitter?

If Bron is gonna even consider coming out here to LA, Magic will have to get rid of both Balls, mainly LaVar, but to do that, his overhyped son will need to be moved. If Magic had drafted Tatum, Markkanen or Mitchell, it’d be A LOT easier to sell LeBron on the Lakers.

At one time Paul George was considered a superstar or a budding superstar. What have the last few years done to his value? I suppose some team will throw “max” money at him but will it be many teams fighting for him or will it be just one?
