Harper has been learning 1B. He plays 1st till Cano gets back and in the playoffs, Cano comes back and he or Dee Gordon shifts to outfield to replace Hereddia for the rest of the season. Nats get prospects to, say, flip for realmuto. Sign dozier in the offseason on a bounce-back deal, and the East is a 3-way race. It’s such a great fit. The only problem I see is the Mariners lack of prospect depth and potential need for a starter, but it could work.
