You can finally list on your resume your extensive experiences with Dungeons & Dragons, Magic The Gathering, Pokemon, and Garbage Pail Kids (I’m old).

Partying ever since 12/1 and all of the signings made official.. Think Montgomery Brewster at his Election Party. MF22 has gotten “tore up” as Monty said. 🙂

Steve Winwood used to write to me asking for fantasy advice so often I told him his band should write a song about it.
( I don’t think anyone under 40 will get it but figured why not try )

It’s been a while since I’ve played. The consensus top hitter pick has to be Tatis Jr., right? Is Trout even top 5 anymore?

IMO Soto over Tatis for health reasons.

For Soto, it depends whether the fantasy sports program you use gives points for walks. He walks a lot. Good eye.

I’m expecting the top player to be Ohtani. He was the most valuable player last season. Tatis has to be #2. Soto and Vlad Jr. will probably make up 3 and 4. I’m not sure about 5. It will be Acuna if he’s healthy to start the season. Harper will be up there too. Acuna would actually probably top 3 if he were healthy. Trout has tanked. He barely made top 5 last year and probably shouldn’t have. He will be closer to 10th or so next year. I’m curious as to where players like Wander Franco and Austin Riley will get drafted. I think Riley will be ranked lower than he should be. In a dynasty league Riley could be the best 3rd baseman to pick. It’s hard to find high average and power hitting 3rd baseman who are going to be in the league for at least 10 more years. Maybe even 15 years. I think he is only 22. If you draft him you have a great hitter and won’t have to worry about getting a third baseman until the mid 2030’s. He also doesn’t have the injury problems players like Tatis and Acuna have.

I’ve written a lot of fantasy stuff. Unfortunately, it all had to do with Jay-Lo, not A-Rod.

I don’t think I qualify. I just play ESPN fantasy baseball and my strategy is to check the daily lineups and stack the teams with the best opportunities to score and target pitchers in good spots. Mostly DFS related but it works for me. No loyalty to players on my team thought. Everyone ends up on the wavier wire.

You are the exact kind of person they should be hiring……I’d want someone who gave advice then said, “my advice is terrible, best do the opposite”

I just want this work stoppages. I think they should make rosters up to 28 players full time. Then Universal DH.along with adding 4 teams like putting them in Nashville, Las Vegas, Montreal, and maybe Buffalo or Salt Lake City. Make the Buffalo or Salt Lake City a 3/4 community owned team ( like the Green Bay Packers) selling fans shares to the team. Then you have a minimum salary with a maximum salary level. With there being penalties. Teams can add 5 million to top of salary cap for every 10 million they spend in improving communities such as schools, hospitals, neighborhoods and so. Free agency keep close to the same with addition of any player who gets to age 29 is available for free agency. Any player who spends 3 full years at AAA at age 27 is a free agent. Without being ever called up to majors.

obviously 5 yr plan adding these teams. Then also give Tampa and Oakland need to have new stadiums guaranteed in six months other wise MLB helps team financially to move to other city in 2 yrs

Nah. If anything MLB needs to contract 2-4 teams. Adding more teams will just dilute the talent even more than it has been for years. Not to mentions several teams already have almost no fan base. Relocating a couple of teams makes more sense.

Expert advice for fantasy is of great value. FanGraphs has this down with RotoGraphs. Maybe they poach one of them, unlikely but the community writers have some good writers that know fantasy.

Right up my alley. I play in several leagues, including salary cap auction and regular redraft. But I don’t think I want to spend time writing articles on it.
