They always overestimate the Angels. It has been going on since 2011. Remember Wilson, Punols, Hamilton, Rendon, etc?

Who is Punols? JK. Couldn’t resist.

Would have been a great time to ask who the other 9 teams at Britton’s showcase were.

grey – Agreed. The newbies tend to always just go with the favorites, not really worth answering if it’s always the favorites.

I mean, he picked the Padres to “upset” the Dodgers… that’s a sort of bold move. Despite the pads’ aggressive spending, I still think LA is the team to beat in the West.

I saw he refused to take the bait and make predictions for foreign baseball leagues, but does his native New Zealand have any teams in the Australian Baseball League? I know it has a basketball team in Australia’s NBL.

They do – the Auckland Tuatara were formed about five years ago. Notable big leaguers Josh Collmenter and John Holdzkom have turned out for them.

Dang, John Holdzkom, that is not a name I’ve heard in a while. I wish he worked out for the Pirates. He looked great in September 2014, but injuries simpily got in the way too often.

Cardinal fans – no one wants Paul DeJong and his contract.

Yankee fans – No one wants Aaron Hicks with his contract and injury history.
