Please send them Rickie Weeks.
txftw
Can he play first?
Ryan Glover
if Texas needs a first basemen then they should inquire on Hart in addition to Greinke. In return the Brewers would get Profar and another quality pitcher or two
txftw
Including Corey Hart to get Profar, that’s cute
Robert Schwartz
Cute? A Cy young award winner/All-Star and Another guy who’s been an All-Star in the prime of his career for an unproven prospect…. Wouldn’t call throwing Hart in with Greinke cute, I’d call it fair.
DenverPoke
I’m guessing logic isn’t one of your strong suits. J/K
Rangers4Life
It’s going to take more than Corey Hart to acquire the best positional prospect in baseball.
John Laux
ill give you Weeks don’t even need to give me anything more than a bag of baseballs
thekoshow
Honestly, as a Rockies fan, I would listen on Carlos Gonzalez. I won’t be disappointed if he’s not traded, but if the Rangers were to offer Profar, Olt, and more, then I would jump on it. The Rockies aren’t going anywhere soon let’s face it. I would rather have them blow it up and build around Tulo for the future.
NYPOTENCE
Smart guy.
DenverPoke
Exactly…but only on the condition that O’Dowd isn’t here for the rebuilding project.
Ryan Klinkert
What, you don’t want another offseason centered around acquiring 8 quadruple-A pitchers?
Agreed, O’Dowd has to go.
DenverPoke
Since I’m 99% sure O’Dowd will be back next year, I’m eagerly awaiting the 12 man, 1 inning max AAAA rotation he believes is the only way to succeed at altitude.
Ryan Klinkert
It’ll be lethal. The NL West won’t know what hit ’em.
Steven
Olt AND Profar wouldn’t happen . Profar is basically untouchable from what I hear.
California_RedBirds
Do the Rangers really need to go out and make a trade for Grienke, Shields or Johnson? While I can totally see it happening, it really isn’t that necessary. Their offense is so explosive up and down the lineup that I think they can afford to let Ogando pitch and even if he does give up 3-4 runs in a start, we know they are going to give him the run support. Texas will be just fine.
