Pirates Acquire Wade LeBlanc

By Jeff Todd | September 13, 2016 at 3:10pm CDT

The Pirates have acquired southpaw Wade LeBlanc from the Mariners, the teams announced. Seattle will receive a player to be named later or cash considerations in the deal.

LeBlanc, 32, was outrighted after his fifty-inning big league run for the M’s this year. He worked to a 4.50 ERA in that span, with a useful 7.4 K/9 against 1.6 BB/9.

AddisonStreet? Must be a Chubbies fan. Tell me, have you ever seen a Cubs World Series Victory Parade? Oh, that’s right, hasn’t been one of those since before World War ONE! Pirates fans have seen one in their lifetimes though! At least when the Chubbies choke this year, the river of tears will keep Chicago from burning down!

Yes, because bragging about your teams championship from 36 years ago really stings me. lmao. I wasn’t alive then, either. Who cares about the past? Cubs fans don’t, so not sure why that’s always the first thing other teams fans bring up. Lets talk about recent history…the Pirates choking in the WC game multiple times and getting spanked by Jake. Enjoy your October off haha

Seriously Addison, Congrats to winning the Division and getting into the playoffs. Be careful on the boasting now. The starters are not pitching as they were in the beginning of the season. They are beatable now when they were unhittable to start the year. Age is catching up to the arms. The Pirates own more World Searies championships than the Cubs, so……..

Or, just root for your team without trying to sound like a tool. If you want to be a rah rah fanboy, go to BCB

It’s funny that just this weekend I was reading an old 2008 Sports Illustrated with Soriano on the cover.

They had the obligatory long-suffering bleacher bum 12 page article they seem to have every seven or eight years with Cubbie fans talking about how this is the year, I really want my Grandpa to see them one time in the series, nobody can equal Zambrano, Lilly, and Dempster in a seven game series, I just have a feeling this team is different, let’s talk to Bill Murray, etc. etc.

It’ll come around again probably about 2024.

      Good luck, though

I know it was just s joke don’t get upset just smile because it will probably be money or a player hardly anyone had heard of.
