Stupid question. Yaz headlining a trade for Betts. Not enough. The Giants are rebuilding. They don’t need rentals.
That is the most ridiculous move. The Redsox fo not need a older rookie, even if it is Yaz grandson. Especially not for Betts.

Just out of curiosity, who are these guys that get to have their own Q & A chats? I never heard of Mark of Steve, are they just regular contributors to the site?

They are regulars but more than that. They are employees of the site and I know most (if not all) work exclusively for MLBTR. I know there are other writers that post and don’t do chats but I kind of get the feeling that the guys that do the chats are usually the biggest contributors to the site overall. I could be totally wring about that though. I just got that feeling when I first started taking part in the chats. Now that I think about it… Does anybody know which writers contribute to the site the most and how many overall? I know Jeff Todd, Steve Adams, Connor Byrne and some others write a lot of the articles but I don’t really remember the guys that never take part in the chats. Anybody have a list of all the guys that write articles for this site?

I think you are undervaluing Ian Happ. He was totally mismanaged by Maddon. A platoon of Happ/Hoerner at 2B or CF to start 2020 wouldn’t be a bad idea at all., but if a team does trade for him and give him 500 at bats, he will give them 30 homers and a solid .OPS. Similar comments were made about Jorge Soler and look what happened
Why would the Braves trade for the ya Kees andujar when we have Riley who was a higher ceiling prospect?
When healthy he hits MLB pitching better than Riley and his high prospect status.
The problem is Andujar can not play defense. He was the worst in baseball defensively in 2018.
