That “canton” question had me laughing more than I would think it would

T-Mobile Park is easily one of the worst parks in MLB. It is atrocious to walk up to the stadium and see that Darth Vader-looking giant helmet neighboring the stadium, waiting to be closed. It’s not like a garage door and disappears into almost nothing. When visiting I remember talking with the ushers and them saying how long, slow and loud it was. Very disappointing stadium.

Went there in 2017 and I don’t remember even noticing the noise as it closed when the rain started.

That’s what they said but I also didn’t think it was that loud when they closed it after the game. It definitely was slow.

A quick google search shoes the roof closing at T-mobile is either as quick or quicker than average. You had one bad experience, it happens

I was there in 18. I thought it was OK. Nothing special, but not horrible either. What stood out to me (other than Trout hitting 2 HRs and robbing another) was it had better than average options for concessions. It started to rain mid-game and yeah it took a bit longer to close the roof than I would have thought. Didn’t bother us since we were just under the overhang of the stands above, but I can see hating it being out in the open in a downpour. I don’t recall much noise though.

There is a coach that was hired and never got to coach his team and actually coach at all in Carlos Beltran.

Lmao at the guy demanding a covid correction

Do you Specifically need to be infected for you to realize it’s real+ STILL killing over a thousand Americans DAILY, with spikes across the map?

Delusional people like that guy are why we are the only country still this deep in this mess to begin with, talking about if we even will have a season daily for the last 3 months… and he thinks he’s smart enough to demand… anything!

Someone intelligent help this country, oh vey

That’s not nice. Not everyone has access to Google or basic math skills or logic or indoor plumbing.

One with access to Google with some advanced math and science training is able to see what is going on. Notice that listening to the MSM is not involved.

Is 120,000 more or less than 36,000-61,000?

I have found that no one on either side seems to have access to google or basic math skills… or common sense for that matter.

We have to open up, If you are in the right demographic, this is less dangerous than the flu. If you are in the wrong demographic, this is the deadliest thing we’ve ever seen, and I’m not just talking about people 75 and over. I’m talking about millions and millions of Americans under 65.

This is all about protecting the later demographic. We have to be smart, but I haven’t seen a lot of honest or smart on either side.

That last paragraph is confusing because I have been told many times now that as long as I myself personally am statistically likely to live, I shouldn’t worry and just let the corpses fall where they may…

…presumably by people who don’t have (or like their) parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.

Um… median age for covid in Florida is now 30, was 60 6 weeks ago

Just because you don’t die from covid DOESNT mean you won’t have long term health complications from it. You’re extremely delusional if you still think it only matters to old people. Dying isn’t the only way to be affected you small minded person

      100% agree.

Unfortunately, that’s America for you, especially in 2020. There is an obvious answer to why that is but we won’t get into that here.

Can we at least be honest about this? No one on either side seems to want honesty.

It’s not killing a thousand people a day. It hasn’t killed a thousand people since June 9th. Yesterday it killed 268. The 20th it killed 601. The 19th it killed 693.

On the 8th we had almost 30 thousand new cases. We have had one day over 30 since then.

Spikes? It’s a worthless word used to illicit a response. We have cases marginally rising, hardly spiking. But cases are not the most important number. Hospitalizations and deaths are the most important number. Who gets this is more important than how many gets this.

We are the only country knee deep in this mess because we have a Constitution. We can order people to wear a mask. We can’t order people not to protest.

Oversimplifying things into “two sides” leads to missing context and nuanced discussion.

We can see how simple minded you are by your swipes

1% of protestors got covid. Do your research. They aren’t the reason for a spike

The idiots who are driving these spikes in Arizona, Utah, Florida, N and S Carolina…. are the ones who ignored stay at home orders or as soon as they dropped, they went back to normal life

Hey look, those are all red states.. hmmm

And we had 926 deaths as recently as a week ago. Congrats, you can quote 2 random days.. that doesn’t mean the AVERAGE over the last 3+ months is 1000+ deaths a day

That’s what happens when you’re high spikes were 2000-3000 a day, you can have “only 500” die and still maintain an average. Omg math!
