Nick Allen had 4 homers in 100 games, thats not “zero” power like the host claimed. His swing is huge and has a lot of Altuve’s in it.
The A’s could do worse than to add a Dom Smith at 1B, Maikel Franco at 3B and maybe a veteran starter for the back of the rotation
Maikel Franco’s ceiling doesnt have enough trade value, Oakland likely will be looking at bounceback guys for 3B.
It would be difficult to do worse than Franco at 3B, but I’ll give it a shot for the MLB minimum.

You really need some new material.
I like a Cristian Pache for Mickey Moniak trade, Pache can be easier stashed as a late inning defensive/PR type while someone works on his swing with him. Pache has to stay in MLB this year, but his bat is a disaster. Moniak also needs extended PT but if the Angels are serious about competing, Pache as a bench glove/runner is much better than Moniak playing every day.
On paper it makes sense, but I think both teams would prefer what they already have.
I’m just here to say I hate John Fisher and he should be forced to sell the team to someone who spends and cares. Why bother owning a major league team if you don’t care about winning? Greedy a-hole just cares about money and couldn’t care less about fans. I hate him with a passion
Chances Oakland moves to Las Vegas?
Only see Brian Anderson going there or Detroit if he has no other options. And coming off a $4m-plus salary he may not have.
But he plays 2 corner positions and should be able to learn the other 2. So for a team that uses a flexible line-up such as the Rays; maybe Red Sox, Twins and others, he seems like a good candidate to bring in and have the coaching staff rework him.
Would have liked to see a James Click question in there. I think with Forst assuming control he needs a quality person in the Front Office who can fix their player development and be a sounding board/argument partner.
