Not a question, I just think the season should begin with the Reds playing at home. I’d be okay with unusual circumstances, such as games in the far east. Used to be this way, not ALL traditions need to be done away with.
Agreed, Reds should open at home. WS champ should open at home (actually both pennant winners). Dodgers should play at home or in NY for Jackie Robinson day. Jays should play at home in Canada day.

Reds vs either the Cardinals or Pirates to open the season. That would be my traditional opening day.
