Yesterday, a LA county judge ordered she-who-must-not-be-named to pay Trevor Bauer more than $300,000 in damages.

Will this site report on it?

Who cares? It doesn’t matter anyway. Bauer will never pitch another day in MLB. And it’s not because of the allegations hit how he handled it. He’d be a distraction.

Maybe it’s because the MLB did their own investigation and know how much deeper actually goes. It’s been reported multiple times that there are other victims. There are plenty of other players guilty of domestic abuse currently playing in the MLB, and they aren’t blackballing him because he’s a jerk. I’ll never understand why some many men are so eager to run to the defense of a guy gets sexual gratification through violence, which is a fact beyond dispute. A doctor testified under oath about the injuries he gave one of those girls and he never denied any of the abuses in court. The judge simply ruled that she consented the abuse. If you think this only happened once, you are beyond naive. The dude is an awful, AWFUL human being and I wouldn’t piss in him if he were on fire

          1. It’s just “MLB” not “the MLB.”
          2. He has no “victims.”
          3. If you don’t like BDSM don’t do it. Simple as that.

He fractured her skull. That’s not BDSM. That’s violence. He has plenty of victims. Just because they don’t come forward to have their entire lives dragged through the mud by people like you doesn’t mean they don’t exist. But if he’s so innocent, why won’t anybody touch with a 100ft pole even for league minimum? And save the whole “he said mean things about them” argument because it’s complete nonsense.

Bro it’s already been proven he didn’t fracture her skull. A judge literally called that claim “materially misleading” and the Athletic literally edited that out of their article and issued a mea culpa for it.
He stil has no victims. One of the *alleged* victims was indicted for felony fraud and extortion.
And it’s still not “the MLB.”

Yes he does. He does. It’s been reported many times. They want to remain anonymous for obvious reasons. Just because 1 girl saw what happening and tried to extort him, doesn’t mean he hasn’t done this many many times. He gets off on violence towards women. And you still haven’t answered the question. If he’s so innocent, why won’t THE MLB touch him with 100 foot pole? It’s not because he has an abrasive personality. What’s the reason?

Because Manfred told them not to.

That’s the single worst excuse I’ve ever heard. Some 30 owners are give up a way to make their team better and make more money giving an innocent man a 2nd chance, all for the league minimum because “Manfred told them not to”. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Is it? The MLB did its own investigation, interviewed other victims under the conditions of anonymity and came to their own conclusion. It’s easily the most logical scenario here. GMs not signing him because Manfred told them not to because Bayer criticized him is laughable.

It’s still not “the MLB,” he still has no victims and saying that they “did their own investigation” is giving “We investigated ourselves and cleared ourselves of any wrongdoing.”

You don’t think MLB does an independent investigation when it comes to players potentially violating league policies or potentially the terms of their contracts with their teams? You’re being serious?

They interview the people involved. Just because women haven’t pressed charges against him doesn’t mean they didn’t reach out to MLBs investigators, which again, has been reported numerous times over the last 3 years.

Why would you reach out to MLB investigators but not law enforcement lol.

Bauer’s accusers got charged in criminal court before he ever did.

Are you being serious? Because reaching out to MLB investigators affords them anonymity. So they don’t have people like you combing through every social media post they ever made to ruin their reputation? What percentage of sexual assault cases do you think actually lead to convictions? I’m genuinely curious. I personally know girls who have been sexually assaulted, went to law enforcement and the cops told them they can write up a report but there’s virtually zero chance of a conviction. Not to be cold or cruel, but because it’s a fact. Add in Bauer’s celebrity, and talking to MLB investigators is an infinitely better way to try to punish Bauer for what he did. That’s just common sense.

The fact that you seem to believe that unless a sexual predator is convicted, the attacks and abuse never happened is absolutely outrageous and not rooted in reality in any way. Ask any cop or lawyer about the success rate of sexual assault cases

You can reach out to law enforcement anonymously. Happens all the time.

“What percentage of sexual assault cases do you think actually lead to convictions?”

Yup, there it is. “Listen and believe” to all accusations just because the majority don’t lead to convictions. I hope you or someone you care about is never falsely accused of something they didn’t do.

“… and talking to MLB investigators is an infinitely better way to try to punish Bauer for what he did. That’s just common sense.”

Oh yeah! Getting him banned from a league is way better than having him in prison! Ludicrous.

You can’t testify in court against him anonymously? What good is it to take it to the police if you don’t follow up in court? That argument makes no sense. And I hope you never have a girl or women close to you get sexually assaulted and have a police officer say straight her face there’s zero chance of conviction. The fact you think Bauer was EVER going to spend a single second in jail proves that you live in a completely different universe than I do. He already settled out of court once.

When did I ever say that? I didn’t. Not once. When you have multiple women accuse you of the same thing and then magically 30 top employers won’t touch you with a 100 foot pole, I can read between the lines. I bet you think Big Ben and Vince McMahon are innocent too. Oh and Deshaun Watson, he’s definitely innocent too right?

Accusers testify anonymously all the time.

If they really had all this hard-hitting evidence against Bauer then yeah, he absolutely would have spent a second in jail.

The main accuser was absolutely willing to testify. That wasn’t the issue. The issue was her.

That “settlement” did not include him paying any money or admitting any wrongdoing.

“When you have multiple women accuse you of the same thing…”

Be careful with that kind of thinking lest you end up like Laci Green circa 2016.

” I bet you think Big Ben and Vince McMahon are innocent too. Oh and Deshaun Watson, he’s definitely innocent too right?”

I bet you think Brian Banks, Shawn Oakman, Matt Araiza, Tyler Flood, Johnny Depp and the Duke Lacrosse players are guilty too right? I can do this all day.

For every man that’s been falsely accused, there are a thousand women who have been sexually assaulted who never get justice. Literally any cop or lawyer will tell you the exact same thing. You cherry picking doesn’t change that fact. And if you think any woman is testifying anonymously in a case against Trevor Bauer or that he would ever spend a single second in jail, I honestly don’t even know what to say this point. That has no basis in reality. You’re arguing an idealism that does not exist in the real world.

Oh and by the way, that court order has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with her telling the truth or not. It’s because she violated the terms the settlement they already made by continuing to talk $hit about him after the fact. Part of the terms was a non disclosure agreement. It has absolutely nothing to do with the legitimacy of her claims. It’s a really really weird thing to celebrate

They’ve been suing and countering each other for 3 years. Why don’t read what this court order was actually about? It’s nowhere near the victory you think it is. It’s literally because she ran her mouth on social media and violated the NDA. That’s it

Why do people keep trying to include players who are rentals like Michael King, Dylan Cease and Luis Arraez in their Jarren Duran trade proposals? If the Red Sox were to trade Duran why would they want any rentals in the return, even as filler pieces? This isn’t the first time they have done this either. They kept floating Ha-Seong Kim in their “Arraez to Padres” proposals last year, for instance.

If Boston would have such an easy time signing/extending those dudes they definitely shouldn’t trade for them! They can just sign them in the offseason, keep Jarren Duran and then point and laugh at A. J. Preller.
