Tonight’s MLBTR live chat had to be cut short due to technical issues, and a full transcript isn’t available at this time. Thanks to those who participated, and for those waiting in the queue or unable to submit at question at all, we apologize for the difficulties.

Do you think the Astros and Mets could line up on a Christian Walker for Jeff McNeil swap? I feel like that would help both teams.
What domu think if the mets trade senga and prospect s to the Cardinals for Gray and Donovan
Walker makes 7.5 million more. Houston would probably dish out something so it could work.
Idk. McNeil gives the Mets more positional flexibility. He could probably also play an average 1B and the bat is pretty similar.
Don’t think I’ve ever seen the message “chat is over capacity” before.
I was going to say the same thing. They’re going to start charging a cover to keep the Fire Marshall happy.
Chat is over capacity bumper-stickers will be issued

First time there is more questions in chat comments than in chat itself
Well, let’s chat here. In my memory, there were always a couple of free agents who had signed by the time of the free agent contest deadline. Now it’s 3 days later and no signings, no trades have happened, and that’s with the 40-man roster deadline coming up in less than 48 hours. Anyone else find this remarkable?
Chat is over capacity? What’s going on?
We broke it
Didn’t want to ask a question anyway. But it’s even weirder you can’t even READ it. OK I know when I’m not wanted. Mostly.
Bummer. No chat.
Who do we think is the first “top 50” to sign and which teams sign the most free agents from the “top 50” list?
I’ll go Robert Suarez and Dodgers for most top 50.
Looks like Naylor is the first to sign (SEA).
Ceece is going to jump the market and be grossly overpaid. Orioles gonna regret it
is it me or has it been an unusually quite offseason so far?
It’s you. Sure, there haven’t been many transactions so far, but not much really happens within the first few weeks anyway, and even some of the early activity last year was more an anomaly than the norm.
Who does Stearns target in SP market?
How much wood could Chuck Norris chuck wood, if Chuck Norris could chuck wood?
Hint: there is a correct answer.
The obvious answer is none.
He wouldn’t need to. Upon seeing old Chuck coming, all the wood would chuck itself.
