Astros – I really think using Nola tonight was a bad idea. Lorenzen seemed to be mentally unprepared to pitch after Nola replaced him as the starter.
No excuses though, the better team won and the umpires weren’t involved. Congrats to Venezuela. I want USA to win tomorrow, but ERod coming up big would put a smile on my face.
But tbh it’s not nearly as prevalent as it was here in the mid 00s during the second Iraq regime change attempt. People would break out in the chant at bus stops and dentists waiting rooms. Blech.
….and there is the bleak reality for the Cardinals. If Jordan Walker struggles again and then struggles in AAA, we find out we wasted a lot of time trying to develop a guy at the major league level who was never going to be a major league player. Thanks Mo. At least you have your pride or ego or whatever.
That is pretty funny. However I’m actually a fan of a glove first 3B because if you’re going to have a spot in the lineup that’s a glove first player not much of a better spot than the hot corner.
