I can’t believe someone honestly thought Britton could bring back Julio Urias.

There were two questions, one with Urias, one with Pederson, both by different people.

I mean.. Pederson for Britton honestly isnt very far apart. See Chapman, Miller and Giles

Regarding the Matt Kemp question, I think a major part why we love that trade was because we got him in exchange for only Olivera, who we would have released anyway if he didn’t get any takers, and he had an immediate effect in the lineup. That being said, I do think that we do tend to forget just how much of a defensive liability he can be at times, although the number of fans who see him only as a “middle of the order monster” without looking at his flaws are actually fewer than people think. I think the general consensus of him among Braves’ fans is someone who brings much needed power while fitting well behind Freeman and filling a hole in LF (which had been a revolving door), but who also brings fielding problems and a good amount of swing and miss.

That’s a tough one because I didn’t really think I saw a lot of Braves fans thinking he’d be mid-order monster, but yet our lineup was one of the top-5 highest-scoring offenses in baseball after acquiring him. Sure, small sample size and all, but I think there’s a lot of drinking the Kool-Aid Coppy is pouring in thinking that we acquired him for next to nothing in added funds and giving up Olivera, and there’s hope that he could get better by playing for a team he’s always wanted to play for and possibly get into better shape. All-in-all, his bat will outweigh is lack of glove, which looked good at times in ATL, but let’s see what he weighs come March.

Fun seeing Ender Inciarte’s name a few times – especially when it’s being connected to Sonny Gray. But I can’t see what TOR would give up to get him.

Personally, I love the guy, and is our version of Donaldson – fire, heart, grit.
