By Jeff Todd | April 24, 2018 at 1:44pm CDT

It’s NFL Draft week! This year’s draft is full of intrigue and you’ll want to stay tuned to Pro Football Rumors for every update whether you’re a casual or hardcore NFL fan.

The draft is hours away and we still don’t know who the No. 1 overall pick will be. Many believe the Browns will take either USC quarterback Sam Darnold or Wyoming QB Josh Allen with the top choice, but the latest word indicates that Oklahoma signal caller Baker Mayfield is in consideration. The Browns could throw everyone an even bigger curve by taking Penn State running back Saquon Barkley at No. 1, which would truly throw the rest of the draft board in flux. The Browns have also made it known that they are willing to trade the first pick, so we could see a blockbuster deal involving a team desperate to find their future solution under center.

The uncertainty doesn’t stop there. The Giants, at No. 2, are reportedly enamored with Barkley and are divided on this year’s top QB prospects, so it’s unclear if they will follow through on their expected plan to draft Eli Manning’s successor. The Jets, meanwhile, are grappling with whether to select Mayfield or UCLA QB Josh Rosen, assuming both players fall to them. With so many questions regarding the top three picks, the possibilities are endless for how the remainder of the first round will shake out.

Over the next 48 hours, there will be a myriad of rumors regarding the NFL Draft and Pro Football Rumors will help you separate the wheat from the chaff. To stay plugged in with up-to-the-minute updates, follow Pro Football Rumors on Twitter: @pfrumors.

The browns should draft a QB at 1 & 4. Maybe then they will get it right at the QB spot

What about neither and take Barkley and Chubb with tyrod Taylor at qb (lowest turnover rate in history)

I think the Browns will take Bradley Chubb at number 1 and a quarterback at 4. If the Giants are truly interested in Barkley as their 1st pick the Browns can choose whomever is left after the Jets pick. Or I can see the Browns trading with Buffalo. Browns get 12 and 22. Bills get 4 and their quarterback. Browns could grab Lamar Jackson with #12

I do have a trade proposal. Bengals trade A J Green and a 3rd round pick to Cleveland for Corey Coleman and picks 33 and 35. Browns get their Ace wide receiver. Bengals get a wide receiver who might flourish out of Cleveland plus two more second rounders to go after linebacker or offensive line help.

How do browns get an ace receiver out of that trade

AJ Green on Cleveland would be the ace receiver they haven’t had in years. He’s being wasted in Cincinnati. All Cleveland would need is somebody to throw him the damn ball

Tomorrow’s NFL draft broadcast will be the highest rated sporting event until the preseason games start.

I hope Sam Darnold falls to the Jets @3.

They say Cleveland is deciding between Allen and Darnold. Hopefully they select Allen.

That leaves Giants at #2.. They could draft one of the two generational RB (Barkley, Chubb) because Cleveland — in all likelihood, probably picking 1 @ 4)

Hope Giants go for it, build around Eli, and draft RB, than another QB —

Jets fan (searching for that franchise QB since 60’s)

This morning on ESPN Mel Kiper said he heard from a Browns source they’re starting to lean forward taking Baker Mayfield at #1.

You can make fun of The Browns for their ineptitude, (1-31 the last 2 years, traded Carson Wentz… etc)

When it comes to draft smoke screens Cle gets an A

Build around Eli? The Giants were talking about cutting or trading Manning at the end of last season

and they even benched him a couple games! Now they are gonna build around a 15 year veteran QB? Ok I guess!
