Our free agent prediction contest closed for entries on November 15th. To date, 17 of our top 50 free agents have signed. Of the 6,233 people who entered our contest, only three people have as many as eight predictions correct so far.

I can’t believe I’m in first. I’m still pissed Semien didn’t re-sign with Toronto. Marte was a crapshoot but at least I got the right city. Wait until Gausman re-signs with the Giants and Freddie re-signs with the Braves. I’ll extend my lead even more.

How do people have zero correct? There were free agent signings before the contest started
I think the contest actually got posted before those signings but it just didn’t close. Some people fill it out right away and never change it. I always alter mine to the deadline. You would be surprised how many people didn’t vote for Drew Smyly to the Braves last season. You might be right though. I think Heaney actually signed before they started the contest this year. Right?

Five right so far. Expecting great things. At least a couple more are in my future.
All my predictions were just random picks. I got 3 of 7.
I got the first 6 correct. Wrong on Graveman and Mats though. So 6 of 8 is tied for 2nd place!! Very exciting! But now we will take like a 3 month pause on the contest during the lockout.

I don’t recall what I picked but I am hoping the Tigers sign Semien (7 yrs/$160M), give him his 7th year he wants, keep him at 2nd for now, and sign Baez (5 yrs/$100M), to play SS. This will take care of the middle which we desperately need in Detroit. The Tigers corners are covered for now with Candy/Schoop and help on the way in Torkelson. Outfield is good with Grossman, Baddoo, Reyes, Hill, and Riley Green coming up soon. Catcher is fixed with Barnhart and either Haase or Dingler coming up to back him up, Rodriguez is a great addition to the pitching staff, but would like to see them sign another SP like Sonny Gray or Alex Cobb, or resign Wily Peralta.

2) Trade SP Mick Abel,CF Johan Rojas, CF Mickey Moniak, SP Francisco Morales,& SS Luis Garcia for CF Cedric Mullins, RP Tyler Wells, and RP Tanner Scott
3) Re-sign Archie Bradley, 3/18M. Sign Sean Doolittle 2-8M,re-sign Brad Miller 2/10M, re-sign IF Freddy Galvis 2-10M,
Sign Kris Bryant 6/150,mutual options after 3rd/5th years
