LOTR American? J.R. Tolkien was British, and the film starred many foreign-born actors, and was filmed in New Zealand. Even the American actors in the film used an adapted Bristish/Australian accent. So I’m not sure we can claim it fully as apple pie.

I loved Les Miserables. It’s based on the French revolution and all the actors have British or Australian accents.

Actually, Man City spends very little. Two seasons ago they got Jack Grealish from Aston Villa, Although they did pay 100m pounds for his transfer fee. Before this season they got Erling Haaland for about half of that from I believe Borussia Dortmund. At this January’s deadline they only picked up one player for very little money. In comparison Chelsea spent over 700m pounds on players and have still only won one game this year.
