I agree with Sean. Texas just needs an outfielder who can hit. If the call up Evan Carter, I’d go from a guess of 85 wins to 88 or more. It’s just bad they don’t have many OFs to target during the deadline. Happ was extended, and Reynolds probably won’t be dealt after extension talks, even if there is a holdup over opting out a year after arb and/or a no trade clause.

Yankees caught cheating again… nothing happens.
Today’s game, German caught with substance on hands. Told to go back in the dugout and wash his hands. They leave him in the game. According to the rules, he should have been removed from the game. Instead, Baldelli is ejected for telling umps how to do their jobs.

I think San Antonio will get a MLB team before Austin. Too bad they’re not as close as Dallas – Fort Worth are. Splitting the difference would make the stadium 40 miles from both cities.
Nashville, Charlotte, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Portland, Montreal could all support an MLB team but baseball rather give the two cheapest owners more leverage in getting stadium money from tax payers.

Valid points. I’ve thought for a long time that Portland is viable. Nashville I’ve recently realized is too. Montreal had a team and lost it already. Then again, same happened in Washington DC.
