Hey Mark, I am a Padre fan and I am not “pretty happy overall how this season went”.
Wait ’til next year.
I would really be curious as to the criteria used to select questions from what we are told are more than 500 submitted for each chat.
“Do you take Breslow and Kennedy at their word that they’ll work hard to improve the roster?”
Is there ANY front office in MLB where the answer would be “No, they are liars who will goof off throughout the offseason and not work hard at all”.
Perhaps some sort of test should be required for submitting questions. LOL!!
But you had to dig mobygrape1’s Charlie Brown-with-the-football analogy. That was a great reference.
I’m a little late on this but I thought the dumb question of the day belonged to the Adames going to the Cubs question. Yeah the Cubs who just signed Swanson to a long term deal two seasons ago. Why would anyone think Adames and Cubs would be connected?
I cannot let this go:

How can that possibly be seen as a joke?

6:56; what a catch 22 . The Nats owner and new Os owner held hostage to that MASN deal, but all said it’s a rev stream that seems stable for both.
I don’t think Boston fans are holding the missed fly ball against Jarren Duran as much as the bum-hurt fans are resenting his “remark” to the loud-mouthed fan this season.
Tigers will not count on Tork at 1st. I see them signing a big named FA to play first and DH. Tork will have the opportunity to platoon but he’ll have to perform to keep it.
