Reds Sign Robert Stephenson

The Reds signed first round pick Robert Stephenson, according to Mark Sheldon of MLB.com (on Twitter). Sosnick Cobbe Sports represents the high school right-hander, who was selected 27th overall. Stephenson pitched back to back no-hitters this year and can reach 98 mph on the radar gun.

Mariners Sign Danny Hultzen

The Mariners have signed second overall pick Danny Hultzen, according to Larry Stone of the Seattle Times (on Twitter). It's a five-year deal worth at least $8.5MM and up to $10.6MM, according to Geoff Baker of the Seattle Times (on Twitter). The contract includes a $6.35MM bonus, according to Stone. CAA represents the left-hander.

Rockies Sign Tyler Anderson

The Rockies signed first rounder Tyler Anderson for $1.4MM, according to Zoodig (on Twitter). Legacy Sports Group represents the left-hander, who was the 20th overall selection in the June draft. Anderson, 21, was a Golden Spikes award semi-finalist for Oregon this year and made the Louisville Slugger All-American Second Team.

Red Sox Sign Blake Swihart

The Red Sox signed first rounder Blake Swihart for $2.5MM, according to Zoodig (on Twitter). Legacy Sports Group represents the high school catcher, who was the 26th overall selection in the June draft. Swihart, who had committed to playing for the University of Texas, took batting practice at Fenway Park earlier in the month.

The Padres signed first rounder Joe Ross for $2.75MM according to Jim Callis of Baseball America (on Twitter). Wasserman Media Group represents the high school right-hander, the 25th overall pick in this year's draft. The California native had committed to UCLA, which produced two 2011 first rounders, top pick Gerrit Cole and third overall selection Trevor Bauer.

The Mets signed first round pick Brandon Nimmo for $2.1MM according to ESPN.com's Keith Law (on Twitter). SFX represents the the 18-year-old Wyoming native, who was the 13th overall selection in the June draft. Andy McCullough of the Star-Ledger profiled the outfielder last month.

Astros Sign George Springer

The Astros have signed first round pick George Springer, according to John Manuel of Baseball America (on Twitter). It's a $2.525MM deal, according to Zoodig on Twitter. Legacy Sports Group represents the outfielder, who was the 11th overall selection in the June draft. Houston also signed third rounder Jack Armstrong Jr., according to Manuel and Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports that Armstrong obtained a $750K deal (Twitter link).
